MEDIPOST, acquires a Japanese patent for the mesenchymal stem cell culture method

MEDIPOST announced on the 30th that they have developed a next-generation culture method that can improve the stem cell disease treatment effect and production efficiency at the same time, and acquired a patent in Japan.

The patent is titled the “Method for Culturing Mesenchymal Stem Cells,” and is a technique for stem cell culture methods with improved cell proliferation, viability and recovery.

In addition, it includes technology for culturing stem cells with the improved stem cell function to regenerate the damaged human body or to improve ageing inhibition and immune suppression.

MEDIPOST has already obtained patents for similar technologies in Korea, the United States, and China. The MEDIPOST representative said, “we will be able to save time and money in terms of the production process,” adding that “the acquisition of this patent will improve the existing process technology and apply it to mass-produced high-efficiency mesenchymal stem cells.”
